ADMISSION
Registration Modalities
- One registration form per student
- A $50 deposit per student is due at the time of registration to hold a space in a class. The registration fee is non-refundable.
- Financial Agreement
The payment of tuition is a condition of enrollment. The enrollment is binding on the parents(s) or legal guardian when signed and submitted to EFSAC but is subject to final acceptance by EFSAC. In the event of nonpayment on any amount due, EFSAC may in its sole discretion deny enrollment. This agreement shall be interpreted in accordance with the laws of the state of California. - Discounts:
10% yearly Discount
10% Returning Students
15.% Sibling Discount (second Child)
20% Family Discount (third child discount).
Tuition is not refunded if a student is absent, withdraws, or is dismissed from the program before the end of the semester. For special consideration, please put your request in writing to info.efsac@gmail.com.
EFSAC will review your request and respond promptly. - Late Fees: EFSAC is a non-profit organization operating on limited funds and where board members volunteer their time. To allow us to guarantee the proper operation of the organization, we ask that you do your best to make tuition payments on time.
Payment is due before the start of each semester and is deemed late after the semester begins. Please check the calendar online. - A late fee of $25 per week will be applied after a late payment of 30 days, and we will apply a $35 fee for a returned check. Also, if your payment is late, your child may not be allowed to participate in the class. If you are facing serious financial difficulties, please do communicate your situation to a board member so we may discuss a solution.
Media Rights/ Medical Release
On the registration form, EFSAC would ask you to fill out the Medical Release and the Media Right information.
REGISTRATION POLICIES
Discipline/ Behavior Management Procedure
Scale: Teachers systematically establish and implement a classroom system to reinforce positive behaviors.
In parallel: Teachers must implement strategies to decrease maladaptive behaviors.
Discussion with the student about his behavior and +the strategies in place for parents followed by email message to Board Members and Pedagogical Coordinator.
After 3 maladaptive behaviors, a formal meeting between teacher and parents to discuss.
If no improvement, the child will be excluded from the program.
4. EFSAC declares that any form, type, or level of bullying or harassment of students, teachers, or Francophone culture or language, is unacceptable and that every incident will be taken seriously by the board members, and immediate action could be taken to, including the immediate dismissal of the student.
CLASSROOM RULES
1.No interfering with the teaching and learning of others.
2. Respect the personal space, rights, and property of others.
3. Follow the directions of all your teachers.
4. Come to class prepared with all supplies and homework complete.
5. Come to class prepared to work and speak French.
6. Use polite speech and body language. Unkind teasing and impolite behaviors are unacceptable.
7. Always Do Your Best, have fun and learn!
8. Parents are not allowed to attend the class. But parents have the right to observe their children’s class before agreeing to placement for their children.
9. Students need to come on time and parents need to pick up their children on time.
10. Parents need to stay in contact with the teacher regarding their children’s progress.
MITIGATION /SAFETY PLAN (COVID)
OUR GOAL IS KEEPING OUR STUDENTS SAFE
. FOLLOWING THE PROTOCOLS OF THE CDPH, AND APPLY THEM IN CLASSES
. KEEPING SAFETY PROTOCOLS:
. Cleaning tables, performing hand hygiene before and after classes, practicing physical distancing.
. Face covering for teachers and for students during class time.
. Any class should not be mix with other children and staff during the class.
. KEEPING OUR FAMILIES INFORMED, ENCOURAGE PARENTS TO MONITOR THEIR CHILDREN FOR SYMPTOMS AND TO KEEP THEM HOME IF SICK. KEEP EVERYONE INFORMED IF NEEDED.
. No one with symptoms of the covid-19 or who is in isolation or quarantine for covid-19 is permitted to attend classes.
. Anyone with symptoms of the covid-19 should consult their physician and notify EFSAC.
. Negative – antigen or PCR test for returning to school after a mandatory school 10 days isolation.
. Students identified as close contact (within 6 feet for at least 15 minutes) must quarantine for 14.days. Staff as close contact who is fully vaccinated do need to quarantine.
. KEEPING OUR COMMUNITY INFORMED ABOUT THE MANDATORY CDPH GUIDANCE, AND OUR MITIGATION PLAN DURING THE SCHOOL YEAR.
. Forging an effective communication loop with the districts, parents, and staff.
. TRAINING STAFF AND TALKING TO OUR STUDENTS REGARDING THE PROTOCOLS.
. Adapting our materials in order to fit the CDPH and the district’s protocols.
. Staying informed and about the CDHD and follow the state of California COVID ‘s guidelines.
. STAFF PROTECTION, CREATION OF CHECKLISTS TO FACILITATE THE RE-OPENING, REVISIT MATERIALS THROUGH THE SCHOOL YEAR TO STAY ALERT AND PROMOTE VACCINATION.
TUITION FEES FOR THE FLAM CLASSES
FLAM-Native French Speaker Program
$50 Registration fees (non-refundable)
48 HOURS OF FRENCH: 28-Week Session + 6 hours of Cultural Event and Workshop (online and offline)
3 hours of Cultural activities per semester to choose from (on site or online through the year).
$990 per academic year (10% discount)
$550 per semester, 14-week session
$300 – Quarter Payment

French as a Second Language Program
30 HOURS OF FRENCH: 24-Week Session

$25 per hour, 75 minutes each,
$675 per academic year
$375 per semester (14-week session)

Online Classes
Registration Fee: $20 per student per session
