Native French Speakers Classes and French as a Second Language

Flam: Français Langue Maternelle

The FLAM Program, created in 2001-2002 by the International Cooperation and Development Administration General of the French Ministry of Foreign Affairs, is aimed at the expatriate French communities. Its goal is to bring support for the establishment of extracurricular activities for French-speaking children, attending American local schools. Since 2009, the program is managed by the AEFE (Agence pour l'Enseignement Français à l'Etranger). The FLAM program helps maintain and reinforce French as a mother tongue and presents various aspects of the French culture, with after-school activities. EFSAC was created in 2011, and offers more than 16 classes in Grass Valley, Folsom, Rocklin and Sacramento. In 2018, EFSAC is now part of the Federation FLAM USA.
